We all get tired of the same old breakfast sometimes. I, personally, find eating warm oats in the morning quite boring so one day, I decided to spice them up and make them more exciting! I fished out some ingredients lying around my kitchen and put together a recipe for warm apple pie oats that genuinely tasted like warm apple pie! So without further ado, here is the recipe!
Apple Pie Oats
A delicious and warm way to start your day!

- maple syrup
- 2 tbsp applesauce
- 240 ml non-dairy milk (almond, oat etc)
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp corn flour
Chop your apple into small pieces.
For the apple topping:- In a saucepan add your apple, water, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, cornflour, 1 tsp vanilla essence, maple syrup and stir often until the apple softens and the sauce thickens (Over a medium heat).
Put apple topping to the side. In another saucepan (on a medium heat), add your oats, non-dairy milk, apple sauce, chia seeds, salt, 1 tbsp maple syrup and the rest of your cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla essence.
